Subject: Coffee Project NY will train you to become a coffee sommelier

Hi Shelby,

I hope this finds you well! Thought you’d find the below of interest:

Coffee Project New York—the city’s first Specialty Coffee Association-certified Premier Training Campus—has announced its upcoming educational lineup. Courses range from beginner workshops to the prestigious Q Grader certification, widely recognized as the wine sommelier equivalent of the coffee industry.

This summer’s highlights include the Pour-Over Intensive. Led by Peace—a wholesale trainer and educator who recently placed second in the U.S. Brewers Cup—this two-hour masterclass welcomes coffee lovers of all skill levels. Participants will master manual brewing techniques while diving into the science of coffee extraction and brewing variables.

For experienced coffee professionals, the six-day SCA Evolved Q Grading offers an opportunity to learn to evaluate, score, and describe coffee using the newest Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) standards. Participants who successfully complete the program’s exam will earn their Q Grader license under the updated SCA curriculum.

Let me know if you’d be interested in attending a class for editorial consideration or have any further questions. The full class schedule can be found here .

Best,

Dani
