Sustainability Gains Drive RTI's 2025 Performance Restaurant Technologies released its 2026 Impact Report highlighting operational and environmental progress across its automated kitchen solutions business. The company recycled 393 million pounds of used cooking oil (UCO) in 2025 while delivering 719.4 million pounds of fresh cooking oil in bulk, eliminating 19.3 million plastic oil jugs and saving 8.9 million cubic feet of landfill space. "At RTI, our purpose is clear: take something complicated off the plates of foodservice and restaurant operators while making kitchens safer, more efficient and easier to operate," said Alissa Partee, President and CEO of RTI. "The impact we're making through our customers, our people, and our partnerships reflects our belief that doing right by each of these groups is integral to building a cleaner, stronger future."

Certifications Unlock Renewable Fuel Markets RTI earned three International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) accreditations in 2025, validating its UCO supply chain traceability and opening access to renewable fuel markets, including sustainable aviation fuel. The company supplies traceable UCO to the Rodeo Renewable Energy Complex, operated by Phillips 66, one of the world's largest renewable fuels facilities. "Sustainability is embedded in the way Restaurant Technologies operates every day. As we grow, we're focused on finding practical ways to reduce our environmental footprint while creating greater value for our customers and partners," said Diana Geseking, Chief Legal Officer and Impact initiatives leader.

Fleet Efficiency and Remote Service Cut Costs Operational improvements reduced environmental impact while maintaining service levels. RTI delivered 6.5% more fresh cooking oil in 2025 while cutting annual fleet mileage by 10.4% and achieving a 3.5% reduction in fleet greenhouse gas emissions through smarter routing and predictive technology. By mid-2026, RTI's Virtual Technician program resolved more than 13% of inbound service calls remotely, reducing in-field visits by approximately 1,300 per month.

Workforce Recognition and Community Investment RTI received the Minneapolis/St.

Paul Business Journal's Best Places to Work award for the fourth consecutive year and sixth time overall. The company invested heavily in employee development, conducting 3,050 hours of safety training and expanding its certified safety trainer team by over 10 trainers. More than 800 employees participated in online courses on respect, fairness, and unconscious bias awareness. The RTI Educational Foundation, established in 2013, has distributed more than 100 scholarships and raised $1 million to date. In 2026 alone, employees raised $148,000 during Bright Futures Week to support the foundation.

Why It Matters

For foodservice operators, RTI's efficiency gains—particularly its 13% remote resolution rate and fleet optimization—signal potential cost savings and faster service response times. The company's ISCC certifications also enable customers seeking sustainable fuel sourcing for their supply chains to access certified UCO channels.
