Hygienic Design Meets Advanced Inspection Technology Eagle Product Inspection has released an enhanced version of its RMI3/M, a multi-application x-ray inspection system designed for high-volume bulk meat and carton applications. The system combines hygienic machine construction with advanced x-ray inspection technology, targeting processors seeking to strengthen food safety programs without sacrificing production uptime. The RMI3/M is engineered for unpackaged raw beef, pork, lamb, and similar products. It features an IP69-rated hygienic design and open conveyor architecture that allows operators to quickly disassemble, clean, and reassemble the system—a feature intended to minimize sanitation downtime.
Detection and Multiple Inspection Capabilities The system detects contaminants including calcified bone, metal, glass, and stone in bulk meat products. Combined with Eagle's SimulTask PRO image processing software and optional PXTT dual-energy technology, the RMI3/M performs multiple inline quality inspections while reducing false rejects. "Today's processors need inspection systems that support food safety without compromising production efficiency," said Christy Draus, Head of Marketing at Eagle Product Inspection.
