HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 has opened applications for its Hosted Buyer Programme, giving international foodservice and hospitality buyers structured access to more than 2,500 exhibitors at one of Asia's largest commercial kitchen and hospitality trade events.

The show runs October 13–15, 2026, at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in China's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Organizers expect more than 150,000 professional buyers to attend across the three-day run.

How the Programme Works

Rather than leaving buyers to navigate the exhibition floor independently, the Hosted Buyer Programme pairs qualified participants with exhibitors based on declared sourcing priorities and business objectives. Pre-arranged matchmaking sessions are intended to reduce floor time spent on cold introductions and focus conversations on actionable procurement discussions — a format that mirrors buyer programs at major North American equipment trade events.

Eligibility is aimed at distributors, importers, wholesalers, retailers, and franchisors. Accepted participants receive shuttle transport between the official hotel and venue, access to a dedicated Hosted Buyer Lounge, and invitations to industry forums and networking sessions running alongside the main exhibition. For equipment dealers and dealer-channel professionals considering Asian sourcing, the structured matchmaking format can compress what would otherwise take multiple factory visits into a single multi-day engagement.

Why Greater Bay Area Sourcing Matters

Shenzhen's position within the Greater Bay Area makes it a practical staging point for buyers evaluating commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice smallwares, refrigeration components, and hospitality supply chain partnerships produced in southern China. The region hosts a dense cluster of manufacturers serving both domestic and export markets, and HOTELEX's annual Shenzhen edition is positioned as the primary channel for connecting that manufacturing base with international buyers.

For foodservice equipment specifiers and consultants tracking energy-and-sustainability developments in commercial kitchen supply chains, sourcing trips to major Chinese exhibitions have become a standard part of due diligence as operators evaluate cost and lead-time tradeoffs across global supplier networks. The show's 2,500-plus exhibitor count suggests broad category coverage across cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, prep, and hospitality interiors.
