Two of North America's largest food and beverage manufacturing dispositions are heading to auction this fall, with AssetBuilt managing the sale of surplus assets from Cutrale's integrated citrus facility in Leesburg, Florida, and the former Anheuser-Busch brewing campus in Newark, New Jersey. The live webcast auction runs September 8–11, 2026, and registration for the Newark lot is already open.
The Equipment on Offer
The Cutrale lot spans an integrated citrus processing and beverage production operation, including fruit handling systems, citrus extraction and juice concentration equipment, beverage blending and pasteurization systems, and high-speed Fogg bottling lines. Also available: SACMI labeling equipment, Douglas Axiom case packers, automated palletizing systems, stainless steel processing vessels, utility infrastructure, and warehouse assets. Detailed lot information for the Cutrale offering is expected in the coming weeks.
The Newark Anheuser-Busch campus — a 3.2-million-square-foot former brewery — carries a broader array of cold-chain and refrigeration equipment alongside brewing and fermentation systems, bright beer tanks, high-speed packaging lines, industrial electrical and utility infrastructure, material handling equipment, machine shop assets, and an extensive MRO inventory. For operators, dealers, or consultants sourcing warewashing and processing assets at scale, the breadth of MRO and utility systems at this site is particularly notable.
Why This Matters for Buyers
For foodservice equipment dealers, secondary-market buyers, and commissary or co-manufacturing operators, large-scale disposition events like these represent a rare opportunity to source production-grade assets — pasteurizers, high-speed fillers, automated palletizers, and cold-chain infrastructure — at prices well below new-equipment cost. The brewery campus's industrial refrigeration offering is especially relevant given the current demand for cold storage capacity as ghost kitchen and commissary kitchen buildouts accelerate across urban markets.
AssetBuilt's Founder and CEO Tara Shaikh framed the scope plainly: "These projects represent exactly the type of complex manufacturing engagement AssetBuilt was built to execute. Our goal is to maximize value for our clients while extending the productive life of high-quality industrial assets." That last point — asset life extension — aligns directly with the sustainability mandates many multi-unit operators and institutional buyers now build into procurement decisions.
AssetBuilt supports clients through live and timed online auctions, private treaty sales, complete production line acquisitions, and strategic facility redeployment, with buyers active in more than 140 countries. Participation in the September event is expected from manufacturers, equipment dealers, processors, contractors, and industrial investors worldwide.
